Our story

DM Art Consulting aims at offering private collectors and institutions competence and reliability in the art field, through the hard work and collaboration of specialized art historians Eleonora D’Alessandro and Costanza Molini.

DM Art Consulting has curated the catalogues of important art collections with works by artists such as Bertel Thorvaldsen, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Pablo Picasso, Le Corbousier, Giorgio Morandi, Alexander Clader, Renato Guttuso, Afro Basaldella, Alberto Burri, Cy Twombly, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Mario Schifano, Christo, etc.

Curating an art collection comprises different tasks: taking professional photographs, analyzing and studying thoroughly, passionately and professionally numerous ancient and contemporary artifacts, in order to develop paper catalogues, that would provide detailed information on each work.

Through an in depth study, DM Art Consulting has built a strong professional network and fruitful collaboration with art experts, galleries, foundations, archives and, whenever possible, with the artists themselves.

Understanding the phases that characterize the growth of a collection, highlighting its main themes and analyzing when and where the works were acquired, are key ingredients for a successful catalogue.
Resulting from a strict methodology, the catalogue becomes the fil rouge narrating the story of a collection and linking the present and the past.

DM Art Consulting also curated the reorganization and promotion of several archival funds through the analysis, organization and digitalization of single documents, to help the archives gain historical and artistic dignity.
